Albion River Inn's Wine & Spirits collection is under the direction of consultant Mark Bowery (former sommelier at Masa's, 1984-1989). Our award winning wine & beverage list has received considerable recognition.

The List is constantly evolving & is updated weekly. Currently, there are 550 wines and 500 spirit items from around the world.

Chef Smith has created wedding menus ranging from simple to elaborate and included a list of the most popular menu items. Designed to suit your individual taste and budget, the buffet includes complimentary coffee, tea, punch and bread. In addition to the menu choices listed, Chef Smith will also accommodate special requests. Luncheons are priced on an individual basis, starting at $65 per person, plus tax and 18% gratuity.

The wine cellar at the Albion River Inn features selections from around the world with special emphasis on the best California sparkling and still wines. In addition, a full bar-mixed drinks, bottled beer and the largest single malt scotch collection on the Mendocino Coast is provided on either a limited or open basis. A copy of our wine and liquor list is available on request. Wine is charged on a per opened-bottle basis, plus 18% gratuity and 7.25% sales tax. Full bar set-up fee, including the services of a bartender is $100 plus a per drink charge and gratuity. All alcohol served on the property must be purchased through the inn.

White Bean & Sausage: a hearty soup with house-made Italian sausage, flavored with oregano, garlic, roasted tomatoes & sweet peppers,

garnished with Parmesan cheese.


Butternut Squash & Ginger: slightly spicy soup with ccconut milk, fresh fennel, leeks, Thai style red curry paste & cilantro,

garnished with toasted coconut.



Point Reyes Blue Cheese Salad: mixed organic greens tossed in a raspberry vinaigrette, garnished with red grapes, toasted walnuts, crumbled Point Reyes blue cheese, Fuji apple slices & crispy fried leeks.


Roasted Garlic Caesar Salad: crispy Romaine lettuce tossed with homemade croutons, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, & zesty roasted garlic dressing.

Tossed Green Salad: mixed organic greens in a tangy tomato-caper dressing, garnished with marinated vegetables & creamy parsnip puree.

Fresh Oysters Gratinée: Pacific oysters, sautéed with mushrooms, garlic, fresh basil, lemon & Pernod liqueur, finsihed with wilted spinach,

topped with herbed Japanese bredcrumbs & served golden.


Thai Style Crab Cakes: fresh Dungeness crab blended with waterchestnuts, ginger & green onoions, served crispy with tossed greens

& a spciy Thai style coconut-curry dipping sauce.



Tuscan Style Pork Stew: fresh tender pork, braised with Pinot Noir wine, carrots, onions, garlic, white truffle oil & rich veal stock,

served with garlic-mashed potatoes & garlic bread.


Peppered Ahi Tuna: #1 grade ahi tuna, sprinkled with cracked black pepper & served medium-rare with a warm Shiitake mushroom, Nappa cabbage & sweet pepper salad, served with Jasmine rice and wasabi.



Potato Pancake: tender potatoes, mixed with extra sharp cheddar & dry aged Monterey Jack cheeses, green onions & garlic, served with pan-roasted vegetables & topped with fire-roasted bell pepper aioli.


Lime & Ginger Grilled Prawns: sweet jumbo Mexican white shrimp

marinated & basted on the grill with lime, ginger, garlic & soy,

sauced with tangy cilantro/lime butter, served with

steamed coconut Jasmine rice & caramelized beets.


Roast Tenderloin of Pork: moist boneless pork, thinly sliced & sauced with wild mushrooms, Balsamic vinegar & Pinot Noir wine, served with

a  Yukon Gold potato, fennel & bacon gratin.


Grilled New York Steak: certified, choice beef, grilled to perfection, gratinéed with blue cheese, & sauced with Pancetta, wild mushrooms, caramelized onions & veal stock, served with garlic-mashed Yukon Gold potatoes.


Grilled King Salmon: fresh Pacific filet, served with a spicy Thai style coconut-curry broth, flavored with lime, basil & mint, with steamed shrimp wontons, Jasmine rice, & Heirloom tomato-cucumber relish.


Pan-Roasted Alaskan Halibut: fresh Pacific filet, lightly seasoned & served with a warm roasted Yukon Gold potato, rock shrimp, wild mushroom & kale salad, drizzed with a tangy Calamata olive-basil sauce.
