Chef/Owner Jean Francois Meteigner creates his light, classic French food with a California touch in this award-winning "hidden jewel box".

"Chef-owner Jean François Meteigner creates brilliant, light New French dishes (not an oxymoron)" employing fine Gallic ingredients (snails, frogs' legs, foie gras) at this "hard-to-find" "special-occasion" "gem" in Century City; no doubt "your date will be impressed" sitting at a "well-spaced table" amid "nice artwork", while enjoying a "memorable meal" (on you!) served by an "attentive but unobtrusive" staff; P.S. "save room for the warm fruit tarts." Zagat Survey

La Cachette restaurant has attracted a diverse clientele by creating dishes that are light and delicious. Dishes of the famed hideaway restaurant are made with stocks and reduction instead of heavy cream and butter.
