|"This highly anticipated
newcomer in the ultrachic Mandarin Oriental hotel showcases the pricey
French-influenced, Cal-inspired cooking of chef Eric Ziebold (former chef de
cuisine at Napa’s famed French Laundry) in three-, five- and occasionally
seven-course prix fixe dinner menus; the earth-toned dining room is dramatic
but inviting, and the sleek lounge, highlighted by a 30-ft. ‘wall of flames’
behind the bar, is a glam destination in its own right for sophisticated
cocktails and an equally intriguing roster of dishes."
